Process of Superfine grinding mill in Processing Bentonite

Inside the Superfine grinding mill, multiple sets of grinding rollers rotate around the grinding ring, and the bentonite is crushed by rolling and shearing. The built-in dynamic classifier screens particles of qualified fineness, and the coarse powder returns for grinding to form a closed-loop cycle. The air delivery system transports materials, reduces temperature, and separates impurities to ensure the purity and activity of the finished product.

Pretreatment Stage: The raw ore is crushed to ≤ 10mm by a jaw crusher. If the moisture content exceeds 15%, it is dried by a dryer.

Fine Grinding Stage: The bentonite enters the Superfine grinding mill, and the product fineness is determined by the pressure of the grinding rollers and the rotation speed of the classifier. Corresponding parameters need to be adjusted when producing products of different fineness.

Finished Product Collection Stage: The fine powder is collected through a cyclone separator and a bag filter, with a recovery rate of 99.9%, and the moisture of the finished product is controlled below 2%.

Key Points of Superfine grinding mill in Processing Bentonite

Grinding Roller Pressure: The range is 0.8 - 1.5MPa. If the pressure is insufficient, the fineness will not meet the standard, and if it is too high, the energy consumption will increase.

Classifier Rotation Speed: The range is 800 - 1500rpm. For every 100rpm increase, the fine powder rate of the finished product increases by 5%.

Fineness Not Meeting the Standard: Check the rotation speed of the classifier, and control the error within ±50rpm; check the wear of the grinding roller liner and replace it with a high-chromium alloy liner.

Equipment Vibration: Stop the machine to calibrate the dynamic balance of the grinding roller, and control the error within ≤ 5g·cm; use high-temperature lithium-based grease to lubricate the bearings and replenish it every 200 hours.
