Raymond Mill and Siderite
As an important raw material for iron and steel production, siderite is often associated with impurities such as manganese, magnesium, and calcium. It has characteristics such as medium hardness, friability, and thermal sensitivity. The raw ore needs to be dried to control moisture, facilitating subsequent crushing and grinding. Its weak magnetism has little impact in general processing, but it can be converted into strongly magnetic magnetite after roasting. Process of Processing Siderite with Raymond Mill
Raw Ore Crushing
The jaw crusher crushes large pieces of raw siderite ore into small pieces with a particle size of less than 30mm.
Drying Treatment
Use a medium and low-temperature dryer (such as a drum dryer), with the hot air temperature controlled below 200 - 250℃, to reduce the moisture content to below 1%.
Elevating and Feeding
The elevator sends the dried materials to the raw material bin, and the electromagnetic vibrating feeder uniformly and quantitatively feeds them into the main machine of the Raymond mill.
Grinding and Classification

Equipment Maintenance
Regularly lubricate key bearing parts, check the wear of vulnerable parts and replace them in time, and regularly clean the air duct and other components.
Correct Startup and Shutdown Sequence
When starting up, first turn on the fan, then the analyzer, and finally start the main machine and the feeder. The shutdown sequence is reversed.
