In industrial production, Raymond mill is a key equipment for raw material processing in many industries. Extending the service life of Raymond mill can reduce the replacement frequency, ensure stable production, improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.

Strictly abide by the operating regulations of Raymond mill equipment

Correct start and stop: Before starting the machine, it is necessary to check components such as grinding rollers, grinding rings, fans and motors to ensure that there is no residual material or foreign matter. When starting, follow the principle of no-load starting, and gradually add materials after the operation is stable. When stopping, stop feeding first, empty the materials and then turn off the machine to avoid component deformation.

Strictly control the feeding parameters: Raymond mill is suitable for materials with Mohs hardness ≤ 7. Excessive hardness will accelerate the wear of grinding rollers and grinding rings. The moisture content of materials should generally be ≤ 6%. Excessive humidity will reduce the grinding efficiency and even cause malfunctions. The feeding particle size should be uniform. Excessive size may cause material jamming and block the air duct.

Avoid overloading operation: Long-term overloading operation will increase the motor current and reduce the insulation performance, resulting in motor burnout. It will also accelerate the wear of bearings, causing abnormal vibration and noise. It should operate according to the rated capacity, and use monitoring devices to grasp the equipment status in real time and adjust the production parameters in a timely manner.

Regularly maintain Raymond mill equipment

Lubrication system: The lubrication system can reduce component friction, reduce energy consumption, dissipate heat and prevent rust. Regularly check the quality of lubricating oil (grease). Change the oil in the gearbox every 500 hours, and add grease to the bearings every shift. Use high-temperature anti-wear lubricants.

Inspection of vulnerable parts: Regularly check the wear of vulnerable parts such as grinding rollers, grinding rings, shovels and bearings, and replace the damaged parts in a timely manner. Using wear-resistant material parts can extend the service life and reduce maintenance costs.

Regularly adjust the gap between the grinding roller and the grinding ring to keep it between 0.5 - 1.5mm to ensure the grinding effect and the equipment life. Check the grinding roller bearings when the machine is stopped, and adjust or replace the bearings in a timely manner.

Sealing and dust prevention: Dust will damage the internal components of the equipment. Check the tightness of the transmission parts to prevent dust from entering. Regularly clean the dust collector filter bags to ensure smooth ventilation and ensure the dust removal effect.

Stable operation of the transmission system: Regularly check the wear of the reducer gears, and clean and change the oil every six months or after running for 2000 hours. For belt-driven equipment, check the belt tension to ensure the transmission efficiency and service life.

Ensure the safety of the electrical system: Regularly check the insulation performance of the motor, and measure it once a month with an insulation resistance meter. Regularly clean the dust on the cooling fan, and check whether the cooling air duct is unobstructed to ensure the cooling effect of the motor.

Reasonably select the model of Raymond mill

When selecting a model, factors such as material characteristics, such as hardness, humidity and output, should be considered. For processing high-hardness materials, select a model with high grinding pressure; for processing high-humidity materials, select equipment with moisture-proof and anti-blocking designs; select an appropriate model according to the output requirements, and consider anti-corrosion treatment for highly corrosive materials.

Install an intelligent control system: Monitor the running status of the equipment in real time, and automatically alarm and optimize parameter adjustment.

Transform the traditional fan into a variable frequency fan: Realize stepless adjustment of air volume, reduce energy consumption and reduce mechanical impact.

When the equipment is stored for a long time: Thoroughly clean the internal and external materials of the equipment, apply anti-rust oil to the exposed metal parts, disconnect the power supply and protect the equipment with a cover. Manually turn the machine every month to prevent the bearings from seizing.

Purchase vulnerable parts in advance: Reasonably predict the demand, select high-quality suppliers, strengthen the management of the spare parts warehouse, and use an information system for real-time monitoring.
